the Easter holidays I have shared with some other freaks with the monks in the beautiful monastery Holy Cross spent. the focus in life is common, as in other monasteries also asked for hours on the joint. these are basically long psalm prayers, accompanied by brief response chants, prayers and readings.
the whole affair is highly liturgical, that is, every word, every detail is given accurate and repeated regularly. here and in the large worship service to Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday every movement, every melody, every posture, so every color and every light shining through the window a deep meaning. for me it a great respect speaks to form, the materiality and thus also from the sensory perception the people. one thing to me is basically a very likeable.
